PETG board is made of an amorphous PET resin modified with cyclohexadiol. The performance of PETG is quite different from that of PET and PCT. PETG is an amorphous copolymer. With the increase of CHDM (cyclohexane dimethanol) in the copolymer, the melting point decreases, the glass transition temperature rises, and the crystallinity decreases, and then the amorphous polymer is formed. Generally, the content of CHDM in PETG is more suitable at 30% ~ 40%. Has superior optical properties (high transparent, high and low smooth halo), have outstanding toughness and impact resistance, the impact strength is modified polyacrylate 3 ~ 10 times, excellent formability, cold bending is not white, no crack, good health, conforms to the FDA), easy to printing and decorate, also can undertake all kinds of vacuum forming processing, made from a variety of electronic products packaging materials. PETG boards are widely used in indoor and outdoor signs, display points, store shelves, game consoles, vending machine panels, food containers, furniture, construction and mechanical baffles, etc. PETG is a kind of high transparent engineering plastics, which belongs to a new generation of environmental protection plastics.

· Excellent thermal molding performance
PETG sheet is easy to produce products with complex shape and large tensile ratio. Unlike PC board and impact modified acrylic, this sheet does not need to be pre-dried before the hot forming process. Compared with PC board or acrylic, its molding cycle is short, low temperature, higher yield.
Tenacity,
Extruded PETG sheets are typically 15 to 20 times stronger than general purpose acrylic and 5 to 10 times stronger than impact resistant acrylic. PETG sheet has sufficient bearing capacity during processing, transportation and use, and is not easy to crack.
Weather resistance,
PETG sheets provide excellent weather resistance. It keeps the product strong and prevents it from yellowing. It contains ultraviolet absorbent, which can be co-extruded into a protective layer to protect the plate from the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation.
· Easy processing
PETG plates can be sawed, die-cut, drilled, punched, shearing, riveted, edge milling and cold bending without breaking. Slight scratches on the surface can be removed with a hot air gun. Solvent bonding is also a routine procedure. It is easier to process than general acrylic, impact modified acrylic or PC board, and can be flocking, electroplating, electrostatic processing and so on.
· Excellent chemical resistance
PETG sheets are resistant to multiple chemicals and commonly used cleaners.
