The main characteristics of PET sheet:
High mechanical strength, stiffness and hardness. Good sliding and wear resistance, good electrical insulation, very good creep resistance, low and stable coefficient of friction, excellent wear resistance (better than nylon), very good dimensional stability (better than POM), physical inertia (suitable for contact with food). Weather resistance, chemical resistance, good stability, low water absorption, resistance to weak acid and organic solvents, but not heat water immersion, alkali resistance.
Application of PET sheet:
1. Film sheet: all kinds of food, medicine, non-toxic sterile packaging materials; High-grade packaging materials for textiles, precision instruments and electrical components; Substrates for audio tapes, video tapes, film films, computer floppy disks, metal coatings and photographic films, etc. Electrical insulation materials, capacitor film, flexible printed circuit board and thin film switch and other electronic and mechanical fields.
2. Electronic appliances: manufacturing connectors, coil winding tube, integrated circuit shell, capacitor shell, transformer shell, TV accessories, tuners, switches, timer shell, automatic fuses, motor brackets and relays, etc.
3. Auto parts: such as distribution panel cover, ignition coil, all kinds of valves, exhaust parts, distributor cover, metering instrument cover, small motor cover, etc., can also make use of PET excellent coating, surface gloss and rigidity, the manufacture of automotive parts.
4 mechanical equipment: manufacturing gear, CAM, pump shell, pulley, motor frame and clock parts, can also be used as microwave oven baking tray, a variety of ceiling, outdoor billboards and models, etc.
